I know but guys here were posting blanket statements abt how refilling is as good as murdering your printer..

I've seen inkjets being refilled without any problems...:D
Be it with injection, or inktank system, or when the head is separate or on the cartridge..:D

Well on the same lines, I have seen people running a high end GPU on a Mercury or Intex 350W PSU without running into problems for an year or more, but that doesn't mean I would recommend people to buy those PSU's to run their high end GPU's now would I? :P

Regardless of the number of successful cases of printer cartridge refilling, the number of failures or subsequent damage are not so low to be ignored either. Its like sitting on a faulty landmine hoping that it would not explode.

@mrintech: I am not in touch with the current laser printer market, So may be someone else can help you with choosing a laser printer.

I have had just two printers in my comp lifetime, both of them were spoilt using re-filled cartridges. In the end, thought a printer was a waste of time, one of cases where I do require a printout the workplace laserjet does the trick.

In my experience dont buy the cheap Canon printers, they have a very short life-span with a below average print quality, always found the HP ones to be better VFM...
