Hi,
Can you suggest a freeware Audio Recording Software that can record Stereo audio from the speaker output channels?

I want to record songs as I play them from music sites.

Thanks,

Thanks guys, I missed that thread...

But tell me... is Stereo Mix not a Mono recording with both speaker channel merged? I have used Audacity and the output graph looks so...

If so, is there anything that records in Stereo?

Cheers,

Nope, stereo mix is the final output mix.

If you're listening in very low quality, the source material is probably mono.

Try playing a CD or other stereo source and then do the recording.

Most modern material anyway doesnt have much L/R information, so try recording something where you know what is on the left and right, and listen.

Hey..
What I find is, in Audacity only the left channel of the input signal is showing in the graph.
And my final recording is in both channel but mono!

I was playing distinct stereo staff with Winamp.

Any idea?
