Suggest Binoculars within 3k

I am looking to buy binoculars within 4k...
Can somebody suggest something and a site where they can be bought safely.

3k or 4k ;)

I'm using a pair of Olympus 10x50 DPS, which dad bought from jjmehta for 3.5k around 4 years back.

How is the range and optic quality...:)
 
^ Umm not paratrooper, I'll check the model number on the box and post back.

Range and IQ is mind blowing! Though its a fixed focal lenght model, you might be keen on going for a zoom model, try Nikon and Canon too :)

IIRC Canon makes IS binoculars as well, but they'll cost a bomb.

hah, dont think u r all fooling each other and everyone else. We all know why ppl acutally buy binoculars... :tongue: :ohyeah: :bleh:
 
My ex Warden still have my 3 binos placed in the display cabin of his office :P Nice to go back to college every year and feel proud while standing in his cabin :D
 
Got the Olympus paratrooper 8-16 X 40 with zoom...Awesome...I can actually get decent closeups of birds perched highup in the horizon...:hap2:

My fiancee and mom gave weird looks when I got this home :ashamed:

I told them I like to view birds and catch hoardings/landmarks that are far while Im travelling. and they are like...."Birds?? hoardings?? yeah right...."

Yes thats exactly the one.

Though listed about 4.5k at some places, you can easily get it for 3.4k without bill in a lot of custom notified shops...Thats the price I got it for. If you bargain maybe even lesser.

It has very good optic quality and good for bird watching, but is a tad heavy which means you can feel the strain if you hold it for longer periods without supporting your elbows.
