PC Peripherals Suggest Cooler for AMD phenomII X4 920

dont know if this question has been posed before?

Require some suggestions for a CPU cooler AMD Phenom II X4 920.

Currently have shortlisted Xigmatek HDT S1283 Black Knight.

Also any idea where i can get the black knight from and for how much?

Budget of 2k (can stretch to 2.5)

Just need it to be quiet and efficient in bringing temp down.

No overclocking just plain old gaming and CPU intensive applications like conversion etc.

Current temps at 49 deg celcius.

Ocz Vendetta @ 2.5k. Is suggest go for vendetta than SCCF bcoz of easy installation. both perform similarly if not better.

SCCF @ 2.6k & i'm sure about one thing that it outperforms OCZ Vendetta 2.

even i've got a SCCF pushing my AMD to 4.0GHz.

SCCF is a bit better than vendetta 2, but a bit more noisy than vendetta 2. Fan controller which comes with sccf would be useful

if you are looking for something better than the stock cooler then go for Cooler Master Hyper TX3 for around 1.2k.

you also have the option of Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus for around 2.2k.

But the Best from all of them is SCCF 120.

Will the CM TX3 bring down the temps?

My guestimate would be in the region of 5-6 deg.

Is it worth the money then when the bigger ones would be bringing it down by 10-15 deg atleast with an increase of 1k?

with SCCF my X4 B50 idled at 25~26 with cnq and never went above 42, when at stock clocks[3.1Ghz ].

at 3.8Ghz, idle temps were same at 26c, due to cnq. Max load temps were 48~49c.

Sunbeam CCF 120 mm s for 2600 while CM 520 is for 2500

Hyper 212 at 1800 or was it TX3 ???

Then the CCF makes more sense here. Total VFM

Also a friend is interested in selling his Hyper 212 but he has broken the AMD bracket, so is there any chance to get a bracket from the mkt?

any idea where I can get it in Mumbai??
