Suggest fast N-series phone

Its time to wave goodbye to my good old(2.5yr) N70me phone.

It can now no longer handle sms above 3000 and always gives error:

Not enuf memory to perform operation. Delete some data. OR

Memory full. Close application and try again.

I have 15mb free on phone memory off 19mb. Have not installed extra apps.

Have been using stock 1gbmmc which came along.

Tried changing sms memory to mmc and vice-versa.

The above errors arise even though 29000k off 32000k memory is free. So i constantly need to keep freeing up space.

I'm damn sure it is because of those sms. And i cant delete them or backup up on pc as i need them and dont want to loose the collection. Also in background no other app is open/running. And yes no viruses yet.

Formatted the phone quite multiple time and then restored the sms and contacts but same issues.

Tried all memory freeing apps but they only consume more battery and do no good.

Suggest another n-series or e-series phone which will be faster and better where i can transfer all my sms and most imp. which can handle any nos of messages.

P.S:

Dont ask/suggest virus cleaning and bg app running & etc.etc. I have clearly mentioned each and everything, so pls read first precisely.
 
personally i'll suggest you to go for Nokia 5800XM.

but as you've specified if you want something from N series then it totally depends on your budget...

Around 13k - Nokia N79

Around 22k - Nokia N97 mini, Nokia N86

Around 28k - Nokia N97

Pick Your Poison... :D
 
no nothing like that. but i guess the messages can only be transferred/restored within N series phones. But if it is possible with any other phones then suggestions are welcomed.
 
your budget is very important thing.. Otherwise I'll have to suggest N97 and N900 things here :P
 
i decided not to go for a brand new as for now. As i basically only need a fast phone with good speed, ho hiccups and good camera. So even a used one will do.

In my mind i have N82 & N958gb. Both perform almost similar and have loads of ram to take care of everything.

But still need more suggestion with others model and makes.
 
@srirama : he needs a N series phones brother ..
@ronit : well .. in this range you'll only be able to get 2nd or 3rd hands phones .. like N79, N95.. these are the only two you'll get in this range .. others are a lil more expensive even if its used .. N79 suits the bill though .. you can have a look through the markets .. if you're lucky .. you mught even end up owning one .. best of luck ..!!
