Suggest few games !

Since I am using Windows for few days. Vista 64 , waiting for my Tux bag to arrive so that I can install Linux..After that I will remove Windows ;)

Till then I am thinking of playing few games.. Currently I have few demos like Spinter Cell Double Agent, Call Of Juarej, NFS Prostreet , Rainbow Six Lockdown , Serious Sam 2 :tongue: and few more

Since they are demo its limited gameplay bore me.. I can run all these @ full settings...

My system is AMD x3 8450 , ATI HD 3300 with 512 shared memory , 4 Gb DDR 2 800 with 512 shared.. and rest doesn't matter :P

So please suggest me some games that can run fine.. I haven't played much games till date so I am not a Genre fussy..Though I don't like car racing much :ashamed:

Please give some modest suggestions :)

Keep Windows for longer and play a few more games as well.

For now, try some older games for the graphics solution you have. I recommend some older Command & Conquer if you like RTS', maybe even some Warcraft III and Sins of a Solar Empire. Play Half-Life 2, Far Cry, Max Payne, some GTAs, maybe even Oblivion and Call of Duty 1/2. If arcade racing isn't your thing, try some sims like Live For Speed, some BMW M3 Racing (LFS is a demo and BMW M3 is free). Microsoft Flight Simulator is fun for those who like it :P There are LOOOOADS of really reallly good fun games to play. These are just a few that come to mind.

Get a GeForce 9600GT or something in the future and dual boot between Windows and your Linux distros. Remember...games are fun and fun is good, right?

GTA: San Andreas
KOTOR 1 & 2 ( RPGs, will take long time)
Call of Juarez full game
Farcry 1

hmm.. You can try

CS series, HL series, COD, POP 4 etc.. They will run like hell on ur PC
 
Try savage 2 . MMO , its cross compatible you can continue your character even after installing linux , its a free download
 
I would suggest:

Max Payne 1 & 2

GTA SA

Counter strike on LAN with friends:P

and UT3 in Multiplayer, it also works on linux:D
 
Shooter (Pure) - COD

Shooter (RPG) - Halo/Half Life/Mass Effect(Highly Recommended)

Strategy - Warcraft/AOE

Racing - Most Wanted(I don't like racing too but this is much more than that)

Puzzle - World of GoO (Awesomely different.. do try it!)

All these will run as smooth as butter on ur rig!
