A abbY Galvanizer Aug 16, 2007 #2 so did u dep fry it or shallow fry ??? i suggest sell ur CPU and the X300SE and get the socket AM2 processor with AMD 690G chipset...might work out better in terms of cost and performance

B Baron Contributor Aug 16, 2007 #3 well seemed like foul fry to me... the x300 is long gone, am using nvidia 7600, If can just manage to change the mobo now, would prefer to overhaul later in the year.
