The 7600x is actually better than the 5800x3d in some instances and mostly equal to it. Instead get the 7600 non x (same performance) from eBay for $180 which saves around 3k. With that you can get a new motherboard ($160) and ram($95) which will also save you 5k for the motherboard and 2k for ram. Total savings of 10k plus future upgrade path.

Yes i thought of it . Even i have plans to move to 4070 Ti Super. then i need to up the PSU also.
So will be planning my next upgrade when he comes next time , just pushing the AM4 platform for one last time. Served pretty well. Also i feel 3080 --> 4070 Ti Super / 4080 is not much of a jump. will wait for 5 series and decide. The US market is flooded with 3090 and 3080 now .. lol.
I am even thinking , whether i should return to Intel platform... then AMD`s Long support for its platform is hard to ignore.
If you're into brain teasers, can highly recommend puzzles like these. Are pretty cheap and should be available at the local B&N stores. Haven't seen these in Target or Walmart, hence the suggestion. I recently bought one and it's quite fun trying to figure it out. Most of them you have to figure out how to disassemble and them and then also put it back together.
