yeah downloaded rise of nations and will try when get time. Tried half-life earlier after finishing crysis(3years ago) but I didn't like it because u have to search for health/medkits in HL2. Played Splinter Cell Conviction, it's very decent game. My 3g Unlimited is ending tomorrow.....

AOE3 has two expansion packs, i assume you have played those too?
Why didn't you try AOE2 and AOE1 - those are good, despite the "old"ness and lower graphics.

If you like AOE3, you might like Rise of Nations and its expansion pack.
Also try the game Rise of Legends.

ohh... yeah thanks pratha, I tried and played Expansion pack of AOE3 and also played aoe2 8-10 years back. I will check Rise of Nations. Thanks for the reply.

i miss healthpacks

games these days are too easy...crouch behind a crate for 5 secs and ur back to full health...bleh

^ Health packs are lame :P Thats the exact reason why I love COD series, no looking around for health packs which slows the gameplay in my humble opinion.But to each his own... :)

@OP: Have you tried LOTR:BFME I and II and the expansion for the second part - Rise of the Witch King? Those are some kick ass RTS titles. I loved playing them back then. :)

LOL healthpacks are so old-skool IMO. :P

Regeneration is the way to go - a lot of present gen games rely on this concept. Besides instead of completely recovering the health, I'd rather vouch for the system wherein the player is not able to recover the complete health after dodging/taking cover from an attack and instead loses some amount from the total health. Akin to the system in Mafia 2 - the health bar takes a small hit each time the player is wounded and he has to rely on burgers and other eatables to recover the complete health back. OK burgers sound lame though. :lol:

WTH? you judging a game by its screenshot? play it and you'll love. BFME 2 is my 1st strategy game and its what made me attracted to RTS in the 1st place.

True, but this is one of the classic "which would you rather have" question posed to a large population.
Health-packs are probably old school, but also added to the charm, IMHO.

@Desecrator, no but I think i won't like it(checked screenshots).
You've got to play it to like it! Not merely the screenshots esp. with RTS titles. Did you not like LOTR trilogy/fictions at all?

Whatever floats your boat though! :)

ok I may try Lord of the Rings. But I don't like LOTR stuffs, not the movie also. And a pack of screenshots tells alot about the game play.
