Y u no count moi among your fraands?

seems like nice idea , +1 to you bro :X

anyway i was planning to gift him something like honeymoon package, is it any prepaid honeymoon package available which can be cashed out at any time of the year

You need to be rich for gifting that.

However, for your meager budget you may gift him a 3-4 day stay at Goa. (I am assuming he is in Pune)

20k is actually less for a friend if you only have 4 buddy....
with the kind of budgets you have you can make it 50k

with 50k you can opt for a decent 4 day honeymoon In India...Add another 20k and u can probably go to a nearby island.

But I highly recommend you to increase the budget to 50k as he is one of the very few friends that you have

Since the amount is decent, don't give cash. It will get clubbed with others and "disappear". If he needs to setup a home, you can buy him a appliance. That way he will know what you have gifted.

That's what we did for a good friend of ours. Although we had to pool our money together but your budget is more than enough to get a decent home appliance. We did however, buy the one our friend wanted instead of gifting a model that would appease to us. So he not only knew in advance, but it was even delivered before the actual wedding.
