his budget is 5k, ati4770 is around 6.5k....

I would suggest you to go for ati4670(~4500) or 9600gt(~5.5k)

Oh did see that.

I would suggest a Ati 4670 as its 1k cheaper than 9600gt which has just 5-8% performance increase and you would need a better SMPS.

ati 4670 is good choice but 9600gt gives remarkable performance.
and u must increase u'r ram-- 1 gb is just too low to match today's games and care 2duo processor .increase u'r ram to 4gb ,2gb will do it for u but still paying 1200rs for 2 extra gb isn't to costly.
