Suggest Great Horror Games for PC!

Pls Suggest Gr8 Horror Games for PC...recently played Alone in the dark 3 and Evil Dead Regeneration......loved it!!!!

I am using HD4850 graphics card, so suggest accordingly!!!

horor u mean scary?

Fear, fear2.....not tht scary but its enough to keep player on toes.
DOOM3/ROE......my favorite scary game.(sound effects are awesome)
left 4 dead.....very funny and a bit scary as the number o f zombies rushing atu can reach insanely.
HALO-level 343 guilty Spark, the library.
STALKER series-some levels are scary.
DEAD SPACE.
Resident Evil series.

Nice list there, covered most of the games that I would have recommend myself.

Anyways If you don't mind trying out a bit older game, then check out Clive Barkers Undying for sure. This is a action/horror FPS and has some great scary moments if you play it with a good audio setup and environment, it will make you wet those diapers faster than you can change them. :rofl:

Another one I would recommend is Alien vs Predator 2, again this relies on the audio for the scare factor.

Clive Barker's Undying (A bit older)
Silent Hill (a few games are out for the PC)
Aliens vs Predators 1 and 2
 
No horror fan should miss Doom3. Zombies and atmosphere is scary enough... But I found this game scary because of its claustrophobic situations and never wanted-to/could play this game for more than 30min at a stretch because of that... Take breaks in between...
 
^Lol so true about Doom 3. Sequences where they intro new zombies esp. the Pinky and the Hellknight.
 
Doom 3 (Highly recommended)
Condemned: Criminal Origins (Awesome plot & scary as hell)
Call of Cthullu: Dark Corners of the Earth (mind f*ck game)
 
Scariest for me definately has to be

Silent Hill series games

Mutiple endings (atleast 3 endings) and really really twisted plots and images... play in a dark room with a vibrating controller and you will feel the chills
 
Silent Hill games are atmospheric...it will send chills down your spine by making u feel helpless in a creepy environment..but only if u have patience to play this game.

Dead Space is full of hollywood style action/horror.Highly recommended.

^^Yup, you are right about Bioshock.

One of the best atmospheric horror game ever(with lots of Biopunk elements).

Fallout 3(Although not really a horror game but has dead ppl).
 
you can stay away from fear expansions and jericho...
pretty much everything else enlisted here should satisfy you...
