Use Cool Roof to paint your roof. You will get 2 to 3 degrees of temperature drop. Google for it or inquire about it in your local paint shop. Only problem is that it lasts for one season only. So you have to paint it again next season. My top floor study room is a single room of around 220 sq ft which I paint every summer (I do it my self). I have been using it for last three summers and it is effective. For me it costs around 6K. Only problem is that because of my bad quality paintwork, the paint starts to get washed away if there is torrential rain for an hour or so. In my location such rains happen twice or thrice during summer season.
