I didn't like Intel service what the gave me last time, but my financer (my big Brother) like me to help if I go for intel.:(

I requires your suggestion for System Selection.

My Requirement is for 8-10 hrs. office work. Can you please give me good stable
config.
What About AMD Suggest me same too !:)

Intel Celeron D 2.4 Ghz...

Some compaitable Mobo, i 4got the name damnit :mad:... no time to search...

512 MB ram... 2x256 for dual channel...

80 gb hdd...

some case with a psu of alteast 300 - 350W....

Shud cost you 20-25k total :/
 
Any config for AMD?

I herard that some software is not compatible with AMD is it true?

Which MOBO should I used with it?

Price if possible?
 
^^ absolute nonsense. there is no way a software can be incompatible with amd processors. they have the same architecture as intel and perform better than intel

get a amd64 proc based system if you want to play safe and avoid future upgrades when 64bit software becomes common
 
I use PS2 KeyBoard but one of my MOBO don't have PS2 socket for KeyBOard, so I use PS2 to Serial convertor.

Is there any harm to my MOBO as I user convertor?
Is any other type of problem to my system due to convertor?

@Mangesh: No it should not have any effect. Nonetheless, your newer motherboard should have a PS/2 port in which case you could just use your PS/2 keyboard without the converter.

Actually I sold out my new faulty MOBO and use me Bros old, which has no PS2 port.

So to use My PS2 keyboard on my Bros PC (doesn't have PS2 Keyboard Port only have old style serial port) I have to use convertor.

Any way I can assure my Bros that his PC is Safe and Stady with Any Convertor.

Am I right?
