Monitors Suggest Lcd/Led monitor

Hi guys,

i want to replace my samsung 17" crt with a Lcd/Led screen(power bills:@), budget 6.5k, can stretch it to 7k

i have some question regarding this purchase-

-what screen size i should go for so that i can play games on 1024x768 &+?( i'm thinking 19")

-i have most of my movies/tv show collection at less than 480p, so i don't want to end up buying a big screen on which my

movies/shows get pixelated/blurry.

-is HD really matters?, i mean now I've started watching HD movies(720p), will there quality difference between normal and HD

monitor with 720p source?

i'm not going to upgrade this new monitor any time soon(keeping it for at least ~5 years), unless upgrading my system first,(that's not happening:ashamed:) so guys please help me out here, suggest a monitor according to my specs(my signature) and the above requirements & if can future proof too.

BenQ G922HDA

Dell S2009W

and which one is better?

rather than getting a 19" you can get a full HD 22" Benq G2220HD .. i think its retailing for around 7K

this will really serve you well for movies.. but I am not sure how gaming at 1024 * 768.. will look on this monitor..
 
^^ If you want to play games and watch 720p rips, go for atleast a 20" monitor --

Dell IN 2030M ~ 6500/- OR

Samsung B2033 ~ 6800/-

These are your options, else for a full HD 21.5" option, you have the --

BenQ G2220HD ~ 7500/- as the sole option.

Go for the Benq G2222HDL. Got it for 7.4k at Lamington Road, Mumbai, last week so it should be somewhere
thereabouts in Delhi in well. Very good display!

what about the video stretching thing i asked?, is it gonna be noticeable on these monitors?

(that's why i was going for 19")

and i want power consumption as low as possible.

got the BenQ G2222HDL for 7.1k from computer empire.

it's freaking bright!, straining my eyes.

it's getting hot(not too hot) in the down corners, is it normal??
