Suggest LCD/plasma TV within 50k

Hi guys, need suggestions on LCD TV(full HD) or plasma whichever better...My max budget is 50k...would prefer 42 inch TV...viewing distance would vary from 6ft to 14ft(would b adjusted according to TV:D) so I want 42 inch one....

Main usage would be watching movies and normal DTH channels(rarely I'll connect it to my PC).....Quick suggestion would be welcomed since my old CRT died yesterday morning :(
Edit: would prefer LCD with USB port....but quality comes first so USB is optional.....
 
Yes. Its the same. But I think the price would be lower in a brick & mortar store. Check compareindia.com
 
Any other suggestion?? how about LG 42PQ30/60/70 or LG 50PQ30/60 or LG 42 LH35??...n which home theatre system to get??budget would b 6-7k...would be buying these items by coming weekend...so quick help would be useful...
 
Wthin 7k you can only get the entry level HT from Philips. However I recommend you to spend 15k for a decent HT and go in for at least a Philips 3571.

It has everything.

Bluetooth, Full HD, DivX + USB 2.0, 100000:1 Contrast ratio, 2.4ms response time, 100Hz.

It should be around 55k. :)

Go to a proper place where they have all displays put up take some sample content with yourself. Like HD/DVDrips/TVshows. On a pendrive/DVD ask them to play the stuff on the models that you like it is impossible for us to decide what you want since everyone looks for something different in an LCD.

The brands I would advise to look into would be Sony/Samsung/Panasonic.

I have had a bad experiences with LG so would not recommend them at all.
 
Guys please suggest me a shop in Mumbai(western) where can i get LCDs at good price...m getting quote of 59k on LH70 n 51k on LF20....
