CPU/Mobo Suggest MB for Phenom II X4 945

Hi,

simple question with gr8 confusion:( (for me :p)

for phenom II X4 945 which company's DDR3 Based MB is better....

Gigabyte --OR-- Biostar --OR-- MSI --OR-- Asus ??

it should have onboard graphics , though will be buying GPU still i need onboard GPU for standby, safety reasons

budget 5-6k

Gigabyte MA785GMT-USB3 DDR3 ~ 5.8k

Dont even consider the ASUS M4A78LT-M LE DDR3. It can support the only proccies upto 95w TDP.
 
No point going for DDRII when u have that kind of budget. But then the DDRII option for Gigabyte mobo is Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H ~ 4.3k. Gigabyte is considered as Tier-I mobo manufacturer and Biostar is considered as a Tier-II manufacturer by most review sites.

That said many in TE are satisfied with Biostar's quality and reliability. One more option is Biostar TA785G3 HD ~ 4.5k. Its DDRIII based 785G chip.

what is tier 1 n 2? i didnt get it...:ashamed:

u mean to say gigabyte is better than biostar?
 
+1 for the Gigabyte MA78GMT-USB3. Plus, I don't think there is another equivalent motherboard in the same price-range.
 
guuyss ,, i m confused between following two boards

1. Gigabyte 785GMT USB3 ---- Has eSATA port , But lacks SATA 6 GBps port
2. MSI I 880GMA-E45 ------ Has SATA 6 GBps port , But lacks eSATA port
i wanna kno is eSATA port really necesaary ??
