Suggest me a Camera

Guys please suggest me a Camera (Digital/SLR/wotever) around 25k INR which could be VFM as well as solve my camera needs which include point and shoot and good imaging purposes.. I will be in singapore around May so will most prolly pick it up from there

Was looking around Canon/Nikon/Sony catalogues, please help me out with a decision

if u really into photography get an slr

and only experts can tell u abt slr

well with a budget of 25k in singapore u can go for a DSLR like sony A200 or A300(if u want live view).

if u dont want the hassle of carrying/spending on lenses then u can look for canon SX10IS(20x optical zoom),sony HX1IS(20x optical xoom,FHD videos,10fps still images,info lithium battery) and if u realy good still images get the fuji s100fs it has a bigger sensor, build quality is top notch.

Another interesting one you may like to research is the Panasonic TZ3 (aka ZS3). It has 12x optical zoom and 720p.

I suggest you choose between DSLR and P&S cameras and narrow down your requirements.
