Laptops Suggest me a laptop? Please...thanks

Suggest me good laptop under 30k but my bugget is 35k but if i getting better config in under 30k then my first choice for it so please suggest good laptop with higer on board graphics, ram 1gb or 2gb, hdd 80/120 gb
 
check out HCL ME range also. Seems to be good value for money

Don't ever buy Acer Notebook, it has worst LCD Display problems. Compaq and Dell are good ones.
 
Go for Dell Inspiron., it's the best in the 30k category. You can easily customize each and every part of the laptop. Also, look for the Dell Vostro A860 and 1510., which gives value for money. But Vostro is not recommended to you yaar. Vostro is only for the Businessmen. (Perhaps, you'll become a businessman in future, who knows? ;))
So, go for Inspiron.

Just because some Acer notebooks which were produced 2-3 years ago had LCD problems, it does not mean that all Acer notebooks have problems.
The latest Acer notebooks like the Aspire 5536, Aspire 5738 and Aspire 4736 laptops have the best keyboards right now.
If you dont beleive me, but the October 09 version of Digit magazine. There is a comparison test between 31 laptops.

The Acer Aspire 5738z won the Best Buy award in the "Desktop Replacement Category(upto 40k)".

The Acer Aspire 5738G won the Best Buy award in the "Desktop Replacement Category(40k - 60k)" ahead of the Lenovo IdeaPad Y550.

The Acer Aspire 3810T won the Best Buy award in the "Ultra Compact Category" beating the likes of Dell Adamo, Dell Studio XPS 1340, MSI X400, ASUS UX30 and ASUS U6 Bamboo.

I agree with you. But the thing is, Acer is giving false informations on their website. When my friend purchased the 5738, he was shocked to see the lap since OS is not present. But in their site, they quoted that it's bundled with Windows Vista Home Premium. My friend was unable to spend his valuable money for the OS.. :)

So, before going for Acer, just verify all the things with your sales rep and also check with the Acer customer care.
 
Buy IBM Lenevo Business series laptop... amarbir has a thread for it...:)

donot go into sub 30K category and later complain about LCD getting busted .... motherboard giving up, heating and what not.... you will get what you paid for...:no:

You donot intend of spending 30 - 35K again... I have a Lenevo R52 and i abuse that like anything ... from taking it apart several times to using it as a download rig 24 / 7 This thing never breaks a sweat or throw tantrums, reliable like death... I am even gentler to my assembled desktop....:rofl:

PS: some of these are heavy and really crappy looking but that might not be a bad things ... hey atleast people wont' get envious....:S

You can get any model of Acer with just the DOS or with a genuine Vista OS. The ones with genuine OS comes at about 2k more thane the DOS version. The Acer site doesnt even have prices listed. No other laptop site is as good as dell in the indian market. Just be happy that you didnt waste your money on the OS:D
