Ok then if i increase the budget to say 7k or max 8k then what options do i have ?
I think if the 5130 inspite of being awesome phone has hanging problem then better to leave it aside. God i am so confused :S
But if the latest firmware solves these issues then i am still game.
Edit: I read quiet a few things on other forums and internet in general and all say that this is the best bet at my price point and clubbed with awesome music quality and 3.5mm jack, its a steal. So now remains the hanging issue.

Nokia 6303 rs7900 just a word caution the speaker volume seems to a little on the lower side look at the review by gsmarena

Sorry to bump this topic up but since I too was looking for a phone within Rs 5000-6000 thought i'd continue here.
It indeed seems that Nokia 5130 fits the bill and am very well game for it but my only concern is that I message a lot (atleast 50-80 a day).
I had been using a W910i which had absoultely no issues storing sms's rite upto a year. This phone has a network problem which needs to be submitted to SE Service center from whom I am not expecting a favorable reply. So as a filler and also that investing in a 15-20k phone rite now is not possible I thought I would go for the 5130, my question is that how is the sms storage on this phone i.e can i store the sms on my memory card or will I have to keep deleting them after about 50sms's.
