PC Peripherals Suggest PSU for the rig with ATi 4850 ?

Hi

One of my friend has the following rig. X3-720 + Biostar790...+two 500GB HDD +Two DVD Writer + 2x2gb Ram + coolermaster 120mm x2 fan +coolermaster extreampower 600. Now he is going for ATI 4850(1gb) card. Will the PSU support the rig with 4850 card?

He has the PSU with him already. He had it with the rig before. Only adding ATI 4850.Will the existing PSU (CM-600 extream) support?

CM Extremeseries PSU's rn't of gud quality..though it'll support ur HD4850 but if possible den change this PSU n get vx450W

Get the Corsair VX450. Loyal user for the past 1.5 years.

Go with VX450 for 4K. It is the right choice for your rig.

If you have a budget constraint, get a Seasonic 380 or CX400. Otherwise VX450 is strongly recommended.

Tested Cm600W with 4850cf, 1HDD, 955BE and it works just fine.... Btw now i got BZ psu

CM600 will work fine... I use a CM500 with a similar rig...

Cm600 ran my e6600 @ 3.5hz + 4850 sonic special/ 8800gtx for 8 months without any issues whatsoever.

I changed to corsair after i bought a q9550 and wanted to OC it sub 4ghz marks.
