Hi

Could you guys please suggest some PC games of the last few weeks to the past two years which I don't have and which I would like?

Racing, RTS etc would do as well.

Currently I am thinking of FEAR 2, Vegas /2, Street Fighter 4.

Please temme more.

Thanks!

PS: I play at 1920x1080 MAX no AA 16x AF. I don't mind reducing to as low as 14x9 or even 16x10 if really required. BTW I don't like Crysis anyway.

How would we know which games you dont have :P

Anyways you can try

Bionic Commando(Finished it two weeks ago)

Prototype

GRID

Burnout Paradise

FEAR 2(Superb Game) go get it.

Street Fighter IV

Xmen Origins: Wolverine

Prototype

Mass Effect

Left 4 Dead

Fallout 3

Dead Space

Devil May Cry 4

Mirror's Edge

thats all i can think of now.

I would strongly recommend Prototype, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect from viralbug's list if you haven't played them already. SF4 is get boring quickly if you do not play online. Mirrors Edge looks like a cool game for a while, but you will quickly get bored with it too. Wolverine and DMC4 are top of the line hack and slash games, but if you are not into that genre, you would not like them very much.

Apart from those, I would suggest that you try out Call of Juarez : Bound in blood. Its a much better action game compared to the first version.

Then there is Ghost Busters, This was also a lot of fun. The load times in this game are horrendous though (And that's on a Q9550 @ 3.6GHz)

Overlord 2 is decent, but not every one will like it.

For civilization and Ceasar type city construction game fans, there's Anno 1404.

Other good games that I played in the recent past (although not necessarily recent games) - Bully Scholarship Edition, God Father II, Saints Row 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2

If you haven't played Bully, I would most certainly recommend it.

Absolutely! This is one game that I would strongly suggest picking up first. Even if you haven't played the first part, it's OK. This is a prequel, so you wouldn't be missing anything with respect to the storyline. It's extremely engaging western FPS title with a amazing storyline & voice acting to boot with.

Couple more games that I found to be decent.

Operation Thunderstorm

Code of Honor 3

The first is an FPS with a WWII setting. The second is a Terrorist Encounter FPS on the lines of COD4 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2. There is no active tactical control like in Vegas 2, but the game itself is pretty decent.

Both games are based on the Monolith's Jupiter EX Engine, So you will get great visuals and physics. (For the uninitiated, this is the same engine that was used for F.E.A.R and its sequels) In fact there are a bunch of games that are being made on this engine and although many are being rated average in reviews, the games themselves are decent enough and fun to play.

FUEL
Company of Heroes
Carbon, Undercover(both can be missed if u dont like gallardo, veyron, SLR)
GTA 4(multiplayer racing maps)
Sins of Solar Empire

FPS

Fallout 3
Bioshock(if u havent tried, one of the best games of 2008)
STALKER-Clear Sky, Shadow of Chernobyl, Oblivion Lost.

Forget everything else & grab Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare first, if you haven't already. Fantastic experience :ohyeah:

^^ wow, you have the exact PC config as mine except for the extra HDD.. ;)

Anyway, at TS, u can try Juiced 2, Grid - pretty good racing games..

Also, do you play sport simulation games?
