let me try and confuse you a bit.
I have posted this so many tiems but once more for you.
For starters, i won't touch a cabby with a psu at the top again- as in the Chiefy.
Psu at the bottom runs much cooler as in CM690.
The psu fan is a cooling fan for the psu but ends up as an exhaust fan when sitting next to the cpu hsf.
PSU runs hotter, more degradation of components, instability of power, etc etc.

HDDs run a bit hot in CM690. That's why i prefer the stacker like CM590.

A cabby as big and voluminous as the Chieftec also needs fast enough evacuation of the hotter air inside.
A midtower case with a single 50cfm 120mm exhaust fan will usually have lower inside ambient temps than a Full tower case with the same and only exhaust fan- with the same setup- coz air gets refreshed faster in the midtower as it has lesser volume of air to begin with.
So if i need a single, fast 120mm fan with 70-100cfm, that tends ot be noisy, for effective ventilation, i am better off using 2x120mm fans with 50-60cfm each as exhaust.
More fans but not exactly noisier, without compromising on the cooling.

Also i don't think i will ever use my case as a stool or ladder or stand.
So the 'flimsier than CM Stacker' sheetmetal on CM690/590 but strong enough to stay together as a case will be ok for daily use, knocks from kids, kaamwaali baais, boisterous friends included.
Pricing can be lower for sure but there ain't many offering that much functionality at that price point.
Doesn't mean prices can stay where they are- they should drop.
