Hey was contructing I7 rig for my friend but Gigabyte ud5 Seems to be out of stock !!!its not available at all and dont know when will it come .. any option of getting different mobo which is as good as gigabyte . Budget 18K Max Not more than that for sure.. Kindly help need to close this deal before tuesday.

^Both UD5 and Extreme are different boards! The Extreme's priced north of 20k and is not worth it for the same features it offers in the UD5 + the fancy heatsinks!

Your best bet as of now is getting the EVGA X58 Tril-SLI thru Phoenix! IIRC price's dropped below the 18k mark.

^^^ Has high IOH temperature, sometimes reaching 90 at load. IOH temperatures are better, though not great in msi eclipse plus.
In terms of features and overclocking it's very good.

After using the MSI eclipse and UD5 personally, I will suggest for the MSI eclipse if the buyer is an overclocker. Much easy to overclock with a much higher bclk limit.

Now that DFI is available from TE Dealer Phoenix, even can go for the DFI UT, which has been proven a better overclocking board internationally, though havent used it myself....

Which city are you in? I built my rig recently and it was in stock at Nehru Place. Try again or find out how long it will take. If waiting period reasonable then I suggest you wait. UD5 is worth every penny IMHO.

Other alternatives are Asus P6T or EVGA X58 SLI, in that order.
