Suggestion for 2.5 GBE wireless networking

Hi Folks

So I have a NAS setup at my home. I am currently using Zyxel Airtel router. NAS pc and router are located at the centre of home. I access this NAS via WiFi only via Gigabit port on pc to gigabit port on router. 5Ghz Wifi has max speed of ~850 Mbps. I am looking to upgrade options for WiFi download speed to NAS. The max I can afford is 2.5 GBE. But I am struggling to find WiFi routers with 2.5 GBE ports under 5K that also support around 2.5 Gbps speeds over Wifi 6. I am not even sure if it’s worth investing in price to value ratio.

Your budget is too low.
Archer AX55 pro. It has 1 2.5g port for your nas and claims 2400mps wireless though I doubt it can do that with single device.

First of all, you need to understand that it is not just the router but client device too that matters for achieving wifi speeds. In fact, client device matters much more. All "good speed routers" are 4x4 MIMO but almost all typical client devices incl all AX3000 wifi pcie/m.2 wifi cards are 2x2 MIMO so wifi bandwidth will be cut in half. Without going into details, you will need an AX5400 router like archer AX73 AX3000 router using a 160MHz channel width on 5GHz band (aka total around 4800mbps on 5GHz which will be cut in half due to client device 2x2 MIMO) wifi client setup like intel AX210 card in your pc to have a 2.4gbps wifi link & even then the actual download/upload speeds will be around 70-80% of the wifi link speed so around 2gbps in best case scenario assuming no interference on 5GHz band.

Archer AX55 pro is a typical AX3000 router with 4x4 2x2 MIMO so it will connect at 1200mbps 2400mbps with a typical AX3000 2x2 MIMO wifi client device like intel AX210 at 160MHz channel width assuming best case scenario of no interference at 5GHz band.

P.S. I also have doubts regarding stability of any wifi router transferring data at 2400mbps wifi link for extended durations.

When you say this, do you mean you access your NAS on a PC via wifi or simply use a phone to access it?
If you need those download speeds on your phone, then it's not worth the expense.
But if you want this on your PC, I suggest running an Ethernet cable [if possible] and getting a 2.5 Gbps switch. Wifi will not be consistent.

Will be only accessing it via Wi-Fi. I guess in that case 1 Gigabit router with around 1 Gbps over 5GHz Wi-Fi should be the optimal approach.
