Suggestion for 32 inch LCD TV

Those who can wait to buy an lcd/plasma till the world cup ends shall be rewarded with cheaper prices. Atleast 5k less I am betting. Any model.

I checked out the e-zone in koramangala bangalore today. 32 inch LCD from samsung/lg etc are around the 60K mark. The 40 inch ones are around 1 lakh-1.1 lakh. They asked me to check back around the first week of march when the companies are expected to launch special promotions for the cricket world cup

There is a Panasonic brand shop in Koramangla (if u're coming from inner ring road, the moment you touch koramangla u'll find it on the left side, guess it's 4th block there) hopefully they have all their products.

I don't think we should worry about 1080p because you can notice 1080p quality only till a certain viewing distance. The normal distance we have in our homes 8-10ft, at that distance there won't be any visible (to the human eye) difference in quality between 1080p and 780p. Unless you plan to have a 64 incher and sit bang in front of it... 1080p is just good to have :-)
Keep that in mind before getting carried away by advertising.

The Sony Bravia V Series should fit into ur budget...
They definitely have better picture than Samsung...
1080p is not available in this range, they start with tv's in a higher price range...
720p rocks too so don worry
Panasonic markets plasmas so...
