PC Peripherals Suggestion required for a new mouse

I am not much a gamer and hence don't know about gaming mice...

All i know is that.. some of my gamer friends have been changing their mice.. every 2-3 months.. so they don't go about buying expensive ones...

Just wondering.. how u made it for two long years.. ;))

^the original MX518 mouse were built like a tank seriously. Wonder what gaming mouse did your friend buy.

2-3 months? Are they some kind of disposable mice? (if such things even exist)
or your friends must be feeding them rat poison! :p
i think any cheapo mouse would last atleast for 6 months. 2-3 months means they must be handling it very roughly.

The ergo 525 is also a worthy contender for a gaming mouse. It's been almost 2 years since i've had it and it still feels the same and isn't plagued by the tracking/skipping problems usually associated with laser mice.
