Hi everyone,
I have a very unique set of requirements for the next laptop that I need to purchase. For some context I am currently using a 14 inch (250nits brightness)Dell Inspiron 7420 running a core i3 1215u with 16gb RAM which is running fine, except for some hinge issues.

1. Due to some eye related issue, I am bound to switch to a 16 inch laptop with a very good quality screen with high brightness to make my day-to-day usage comfortable.
2. The other requirement that I have is high storage for which the best solution I could find was to purchase a laptop with secondary M.2 SSD slot. Will add 2/4TB later.
3. OLED Screen: Recently jumped on the OLED TV bandwagon, and I feel it is very difficult to go back. Hoping to replicate the same on the laptop.
4. Lastly, if the price difference isnt too high then go for a Laptop with dedicated GPU.
5. 32GB RAM,

I had shortlisted Samsung book 4 Pro 1.5 L / Ultra 2.3-2.8L or Asus Zephrus G16 with 4070 2.1 L

Kindly advise

The options you specified above are the best that you have right now in India.

And there is another laptop MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio with same specs as that of Asus Zephyrus G16 with 4070 but Asus Zephyrus G16 has Upgraedable M.2 & Wifi card & Soldered Memory (cannot replace RAM) while MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio has Upgradeable M.2/2x RAM Slots (96GB RAM) & Wifi Card. Regarding performance Asus Zephyrus G16 is superior because G16 has superior chipset than MSI laptop.

Asus Zephyrus G16 Link:ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 @ 2.10 Lacs
MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio Link:MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio @ 2.15 Lacs

Comparison Video: Models compared are Asus Zephyrus G14 Vs. MSI Stealth 14 AI Studio (So be warned) This is not G16 but still is showing superior performance than MSI but does not have Upgradeable RAM Slots.

PS: If your prefer Performance than Asus G16 is the way to go & if you prefer to upgrade your RAM further then MSI is the way to go but still I suggest Asus only.

I'd recommend against buying Samsung laptop for use in India, their support is lackluster and minimal spares availability for out of warranty repairs (at least in my t2 city).
do checkout MSI productivity series laptops they would have 16 inch prestige or summit variants with your required spec,
I'm currently using budget MSI modern 14 inch ryzen7 laptop very good performance, avg battery life.

I am using a MSI GL62M 7REX bought in Jan,2018 and no issues what so ever & I even added more RAM & Swapped the HDD with an SATA SSD as well. Though the latest Win11 24H2 update messed it by creating a bios bootup loop & I rectified it by installing Win10 22H2 and paused the updates. Now it is working great. My kid uses it now for her school work & on-line classes.
