Past exp says Asus service sucks, get a Jetway has more features is cheaper and Rashi any day gives better service then those crappy Asus distris. Also get a 4000+ its el cheapo and a 200 mhz bump wont make any legible diff.

And like all other ppl I cannot stress the imp of a good PSU, give it a higher weightage to the proccy.

OP : Which 32" 1080p TV do you have? Haven't seen too many of them in Bombay.
I also have the same question.I am not sure if 32inch FullHD monitors are available in India.A 1080p 32incher would make a very good PC monitor.720p,for me is too low for desktop usage :( .

currenty there is no 32inch 1080p capable tv in asia or europe.only the sharp has a 32inch 1080p tv only available in USA & japan.

Asus service here in Mumbai is hopeless, I just lost a mobo to it, and so did countless of other members. I keep forgeting the distri's name, but any brand which has that distri stay away from it. Jetway boards are cheap, and Rashi periperhals though not awesome has decent after sales.

Besides boardwise comparision, the Jetway board has more features then the Asus one, Asus low end boards are nothing to write about.

The way I learnt it, getting a 7-8k board and then running around wasting days if it gets spoilt, get an el cheapo board if it gets spoilt throw it away.. much easier and less pain in the arse...

Thnkx for ur suggestions will definitely think abt the 4000+ proccy.. yeah will prob have to chk out other cabby options since the iBall workhorse was selected only coz of its resemblance sumwat to the mac workstation.. i know.. i know not the best selection criteria.. will do a bit more research on the cabbys+psu.. dont wanna spend too much rite now coz this is sumwat a temp rig.. mite change cabby to a media center one later on.. and use the same components.... wat say?? ;)

well the lcd which i have is not in mumbai... i have been stayin in dubai most of my life and just been in mumbai for past 4 months.. the lcd is a sharp aquos LC32D62U which is 1080p.. got it from my girlfriend who bought it with her from Canada after finishin her studies there.. it works on 110-240V so it was cool.. else wud have to use a power inverter for it since we use 220-240v in this part of the world.. need a motherboard with hdmi for this reason.. to connect it to this tv.. though from personal experience it doesnt matter much whether u are 1080i/p or 720p when the screen size is less than 40"....

dunno wat price u cud get this model in dubai for.. never bothered looking for the price as this was a gift for me :P

dunno if u get the 32inch 1080p aquos model in dubai.. have seen in the showrooms but never bothered goin in and finding out more details.. also read sumwhere abt hitachi coming out with sum ultravision lcd panel which says that 1080p 32inch.. have to chk tat out and see.. but these lcds are generally much cheaper in places like dubai esp during the shopping festival and gitex.. but guess shipping is not cheap :( and the taxes then murder you once it lands in mumbai...:@
