Video Suggestions required on a 46" or 47" lcd tv

needed some suggestions on a 46" or a 47" lcd tv, budget of 1 lakh, was deciding on the Samsung A610 but looking for some thing better...
 
Extend your Budget to 1.3L & Buy:

Samsung LA46A650A1 46" LCD TV (1.3L) or Samsung PS50A550S1 50" Plasma TV (1.15L)

In 1L the best is:

Samsung LA46A610 46" LCD TV (1L) & Panasonic TH-50PV80H 50" Plasma TV (1L)

My Friend tested them & they are amazing

well if u dont mind getting from the grey market and if extent ur budget to 1.3lakh,try looking for KDL-40W4500 its the same W400A series but with 100hz and is better then the samsung series 650 or u can wait for the sony for the sony KDL-46Z4500 this lcd has 200hz motion flow and for the first time for a lcd tv has full 1080 lines of motion resolution,no other lcd tv in worlds market has achieved.

but if u buy from showrooms then the samsung series 6 is ur best bet.
 
For 1 lakh, Panasonic TH-50PV80H 50" Plasma TV is quite good.

If you want lcd go for sammy 610 model.Mind you this model doesn't have 100hz motion plus or the Ultra Clear Panel.

Isn't buying an lcd from the grey market a bit risky?? Also if i am not wrong, W4500 is an 8 bit panel. Sony KDL-46Z4500 seems to be a good tv but it's gonna cost a bomb when released.

no it has a 10bit panel V,W,Z,X series 40inch and above have 10bit panel.only the 32inch version of W,V series have 8 bit panel.

well at a bargain price in gray market does come the risk,but sony just gives a years warranty,and even if something goes wrong in lcds it will be the electronics ,in lcds they just change the entire board ,there 3 boards in a typical lcd,and each board may cost about 4k to 8k depending on the board,said by a sony service center technician, except some sony X series which have a complex RGB LED backlight requiring additional expensive circuitry. now a grey market prices are around 20% to 30% cheaper and even cheaper for bigger size tvs so for a 40inch tv priced at 1.1 lakh can be bought in grey for about 85 to 89k.so thats a huge difference.

the sony Z series 40inch when launched in india would be priced around MRP1.3lakh.
 
buy samsung 610 :hap2:

I did too ;)

there is nothing better for 46" under 100k

the only other real competetion is with LG scarlett 47"
