Tried the arcade mode with Evil Ryu and got my ass kicked to the curb by Rose. Her attacks seems to have a great deal of damage. b**ch!

Not at all. I can easily tell the difference between 60 and something higher like 100 or 120. Then again, I've been attuned to 120 FPS in a game for over a decade.

Anyway, I'm probably getting the game this week. Are all of you people on sticks now or is there anyone still playing on keyboard like the old SF4 days? I noticed you got an HRAP 3. What was the transition like? Are you doing better now?
 
I got a TE but not been able to transition till now...i still use a x360 controller

BTW: i also got a fightpad but again was not able to move to the fightpad.

Other other thing is the lag...because of the lag the timing in the stick gets screwed:(

Does anyone else think the PC version gameplay seems slower than the consoles.? Also , when framerates lag , it seems the game is running faster , but when playing at high details and framerate , it feels slower :(

On the contrary, ever since I've got my stick, I've barely had the time to practice on it.I think I'll just sell it off for now since I've put in way to much time and energy on the keyboard.
 

Here's a little gameplay video I recorded.
Evil Ryu's quite decent if you ask me.Not as agile or effective as Akuma per say, but not bad either.
This is literally the 3rd time I'm using him, so I'm not familiar with his moves just yet, so this is not supposed to be a combo video.
 
Dude is it worth 1.7k almost tempted to buy it also can you tell me where i can get a good fighting stick in chennai

I have the game for all xbox, PS3 and PC:)

I play Sf4 in PC

SSF4AE in xbox 360

and PS3 is jailbroken so don't go online

I have a stick MAD CATZ TE but I still game with my xbox 360 controller:)

if fact after almost a yr now; i have been able to do FADC consistently on the controller

now moving to Stick is kindly of fugly for me
 
Bumping up an old thread. I've been practising with Akuma on my laptop but unable to do the air fireball and air tatsu. I think I'm gonna break my keyboard some day. Any one got any tips on doing these moves using a keyboard?
FWIW, I still struggle a lot to beat Arcade mode using Akuma in medium difficulty - have been able to beat Seth just once so far.
