Hurricane Sandy already termed as major disaster has caused extensive damage in the US; leading to massive blackouts and flooding. Fifteen people are known to have died in the U.S. and one in Canada, adding to the storm’s earlier toll of 67. Millions are without power. Floods have hit homes and the New York subway system.
