Ok let me clarify about the device first.
I got this device from a dealer in Kolkata for 75k which was in almost new unused condition but I couldn’t personally check it but used courier to receive. I received it and found the C key issue. The seller told me all was good and it is a software issue for sure.
That was the only key issue I found and tried using it for a day but realised this wont work for me even though it was a single key. Immediately I listed here and on Olx as being a busy professional even downloading 10Gb windows file and firmware update was not worth my time now.
So try and understand that this laptop was completely completely unused by me.
I got many offers in range of 57k (olx bangalore) and 52.5k in Olx Jamshedpur and TE here 2-3 offers(
@Yamaraj offered low amount which I had straightaway refused) and almost all of them were informed it was a keyboard issue and buy only if you can manage with same. (same was informed to
@Yamaraj )
In between I had sent the device to another member here in Kolkata to check device and do some software tinkering. I had not taken any payment and took return
I tried searching and found many solutions chronologically
- Initially software firmware issue was my doubt (when I listed it here)
- Then dust (I opened the C key and just blowed the base to remove any dust and reapplied the C key. There was no dust as it was as good as new)
- Finally I found the video on youtube with exact issue which was repaired by changing the keyboard membrane (cost on aliexpress was around 2000rs and same was informed to @Yamaraj that this is a hardware issue and may not be software issue)
In meantime I sent the device to one my known TE friend who wanted to buy. He is from Kolkata. I didn’t take a penny before shipping. He took a look and he told me the ZXCV are not working. I was shocked as while sending It was only C for sure but again I asked him to return and decided to use it as a tablet only.
After receiving Yamaraj messaged again and I thought to take the 23k loss and sell it as it is.
He asked a many questions and I showed everything on video.
I told him only way to use the laptop was in reverse mode as a touch only tablet.
I DMed him while updating the laptop that all keys were working fine as I was updating the laptop and for a few moment the laptop worked properly with all issues gone. I got excited and messaged him and also to my friend who had seen and checked the device but withing few minutes of next updates being installed I saw the issue was back hence deleted the videos that I had sent even before
@Yamaraj had opened the whatsapp.

When yamaraj told about the C key being broken I insisted to apply it properly and he took a day or two to check and then told that C is broken and cannot be fixed
I immediately checked ebay usa and told I will send him the replacement part as compensation.
Yes I had forgotten that the enter key had an issue since the laptop was lying unused for more than a month and within that month a week was in transit to Kolkata and with my TE friend here.
If the same reddit post is the base of me scamming him then I asked hm did u see “ZXCV” keys being mentioned in the post.??? He says you lied
I asked him I had clearly told you it’s a hardware issue and told you not to proceed, He says you lied and wants resolution.
I asked him when you knew it was a hardware defect while buying with 4 keys not working then How were you going to use it?? He says you lied and hence wants a resolution
He says I called him names, I just told him you are a nitpicker.
When He threatened I said ok post wherever you want.
In normal circumstances I usually refund instantly but this is a clear case of manipulative, armtwister.
I told myself if You bow down to this fellow then he will keep doing this again and again.
@Yamaraj I am pretty sure you are not that bad a person in real life but definitely you need to look into yourself in mirror again.
You left a negative feedback and I will live with it, No issues.
