Surprise speed burst

I am using Nivyah broadband with 1 MB speed. Today to my surprise when I was downloading Android SDK setup, I was getting download speed of around 10 MB. As you can see, I was also downloading another file and speed of that is less than 1 MBPS.
I check speedtest also and it was 1 MBPS only.
Unable to find why there was speedburst for one particular download?

You can try to re-download same file to verify whether it has been cached or not.

Must be cached at your ISP

Google, apple, Microsoft & youtube are the most common cached sites.

Try dl in Microsoft, you will get the same speed as Google

Yes they are cached.I stay in mumbai.i also get same speeds but i am using different isp.

frequently downloaded stuff from google playstore, windows(MS) and youtube is cached on the ISP servers.
this way you get better speeds and the ISP saves on the bandwidth.

Today downloaded asphalt 8 on phone(on wifi) . 1.5gb data, downloaded in flat 15 min.
