OC & Modding Svg Tech HOC 40 In Cooler Master Elite 430

Hi

I just bought Svg Tech HOC 40 from a member of this forum
I tried to install it but it seems it will not fit in my cabinet.

The problem is that the holes in the radiator and the top of the cabinet do not match.
What should i do please help me.

CM Elite series is not compatible with 240mm coolers, not only do the holes not match there is not enough space above the motherboard and the fans will bump up against the memory. You need the new CM N series or another cabinet that is specifically compatible with 240mm coolers.

You can dremel out the fan grilles and mount the cooler on top of the case, after making a new custom mount if you don't want to buy a new case.

at the moment i am not in position to buy
another cabinet so will try to fit it in my cabinet.
