Exactly. If you dont get marry no matter for what sake, you are actually being seen as some sinful idiot or a criminal.
Even if urbanisation is changing the trend, the roots still survive in rural underground minds which is next to impossible to change.
Very basic example:
In a city, even if you get hook into arranged or love marriage, you and parents are purely ok of what your wife wears... shorts, skirts, minis, long gowns, one piece etc. This is something you call as the urban effect which we gracefully adapt to.
Even today's moms are so cool. They wear freely anything. Of course they still dont forget the salwar kameez or saris as that is identity of an Indian culture but not 24x7 anymore. Clothes not necessarily justify ones culture.
But the moment you walk into your village carrying these attire attitude, the so called sanskars and shits come between & you and your parents have to listen for the entire life. Your image gets spoiled permanently.
Hell what does a persons clothes or attire has to do anything with sanskars? At least you arent roaming nude and still flaunting some sanskars.
People dont want to change nor they want to accept changes but only judge with some shitty dirty objects.
