Swine Flu | Masks | Recommendations?

Folks,

Well its know that H1N1 has hit Pune hard and due to which as prevention am wondering of having masks. Questions:

  1. Are they effective?
  2. Which ones are better?
  3. I have seen 3M's masks a long with N95 masks, which are better?

i heard that in the news as well. availability of N95 is a little problem.

Ok I got hold of N95, about 4 of them and man...... am I breathless!

Cycling with that thing on my face is out of question! So I guess commuting to office on cycle is out of question.

With that disease and without that disease (w/ mask) makes you breathless anyway.

better to use mask in public and crowded places. 3M N95 mask are good, maybe uncomfy for many due to its size but the filtering is excellent.
