864 cases registered all over india and 314 total ppl hospitalised!! this toll is rising at alarming rate.. im so scared
how safe is south mumbai??
There have been 162,000 cases worldwide, 864/162000 = 0.0053%
Total death toll 1,154 worldwide, 7/1154 = 0.0060%
So, considering we make 16.6% of the world population this is a very small fraction so so far we are pretty good.
Also, if you consider, 1154/162000 = 0.007% is a very small fraction for any disease, a higher percentage die of pneumonia, malaria, dengue etc. Also many of these deaths are a result of lack of information/preparedness and an underlying chronic condition of the patient.
So chill, do not spread rumors, take all preventive measures, if you still get it, don't worry, the odds are stacked heavily in your favour.
