i am a little confused with the system requirements of some games:
crysis requires 2.8ghz processor but i read some reviews that crysis can run on e5200 which has a clock speed of only 2.5ghz

how is it possible?

Probably OC'ed proccies or lower settings... You can OC the E5200 upto 3.2GHz even on the stock Fans.... So no worries... We have played crysis in hostels with lower sttings in Dell Inspiron Laptops with C2D 1.73GHz and 7900 mGPU :)

Gaming depends mostly on the GPU rather than the CPU. And even then .. getting an 8600Gt with "1GB RAM" wouldn't help much.

hey mate i think GPU and RAM is not only enough for playing Crysis it is High end Graphics Game try updating your driver may be it could remove some bugs.....:P

this happens only at higher resolutions say 1680 or above and that too when its in comparison with higher end cards like 4890, gtx 275 etc. For lowerend card ofcourse theres a bound and the cpu as u mentioned is already there.
