First tell you MB/CPU/GPU idle/full load temperatures.Check for lose cables connectors and PCI/USB devices.

I think its your thermal paste, get it redone.

Arctic Silver is what you should go for, but if you don't find it cooler master also offers a cheap solution for the same.

I would have considered the PSU as the problem, but as you say your PC switches off after only 2 minutes.. it has to be the processor overheating.

After facing this same problem, I cleaned off the old thermal compound on the CPU, applied a new coat, and installed an additional fan in the cabinet. The system is working fine now, and has not shut down abruptly since.

^^ Yup it should do. But make sure you follow the instructions properly. Clean both the CPU and the heatsink, then apply a *thin* layer of compound, and spread evenly. If you apply more than the prescribed amount, it will actually block heat transfer from the CPU to the heatsink, thereby increasing the temperature further.

Does it make sense to change the new heatsink instead of thermal paste on stock heatsink?

because the thermal compound costs Rs 115/ to Rs 400/.

But i saw new heatsink for Rs 200

Glacialtech Igloo 5058 CPU Fan

Glacialtech Igloo 5062 (E) OEM CPU Fan(Intel)

Glacialtech Igloo 7223 CPU Fan
From the above which one is better. All are Quoted below 200 Rs/'

Please suggest it is better than stock coolers or not

You will still need thermal compound in any case. It has enough quantity to be used 2-4 times, so is a good investment. Do it already.

BTW the default cooler will be as good as the above that you have listed.

I am newbie, so please regret my doubts if they like silly.

But these coolers have thermal paste attached & have 80 mm instead of small fans.

And also if we buy thermal compound seperately, we should be use within 24 months.

Please suggest me as soon as possible and my friend says "Tuniq" is better than "cooler master".

And i read on web that some kind of grease may melt and spread over to mother-board and nakes it short.

Please suggest me a good thermal compound that doesn't affect the mother-board!

Arctic Silver & similar offerings from Cooler Master come tried and tested and will not spoil your motherboard. Follow the steps here Thermal Paste Application to get how to apply the compound.

If you dont overclock dont buy a new heatsink. There are many heatsinks available but you need to see your budget, shortlist a few and read their reviews before deciding what to buy.
