Car & Bike Tablet for my Car

Hey guys..

recently got Component System Installed in my Swift, It sounds amazing.... I want to take it to the next level & my obvious first choice was getting a CarPC built..

But i was wondering if i could just get a 3G Tablet like the Samsung Galaxy 630 / even the old one Galaxy Tab would do.. and just mount it on the dash...

I have Aux port in my current Head Unit where i connect my S2 for music.

Maybe something like this...

Any Thoughts Or even if its possible... Off course i'd like it to be removable....as I only drive on weekends

There are many innovation implementations in mounting the tablet in a car, and you can find all these details at mp3car.com. Even, I was thinking to do something similar, where I can easily mount the tablet and use it for navigation, etc.

as #tech4pk suggested, goto www.mp3car.com, there you will find lots of choices as many people want the same. Also, get a Bluetooth OBD device and use that to display more info.

Just remembered, you have a Swift which does not support the standard OBD connections.

I am still working out on installing ipad in a car. Needs a lot of modifications and wallet has to be heavy.

yes have been going over the site for a couple of days... still nothing is 100% clear.

some times just think of going for a all built in CarPC but then budget is an issue... & i already have a 10" Xoom but it wont fit in dash.
