Hello guys,
i would like to share some experience with this sucky brand "TAG".
This brand is worst than INTEX in quality and performance.
1st time i bought a 3.25" floppy slot card reader, it never worked
properly.. after inserting card, the card used to show up after a minute!!
secondly, when i used to copy paste files to card and from card, it used to
freeze transfers in between for like 5-6 times for 15-20 secs intervals. so a
2GB transfer would freeze in between for no reason for 5-6 times and that
was irritating and used to take 5-6mins of my precious time. i dumped this
card reader and its in dust.
2nd time, i bought a external SATA case of the sucky brand TAG. the
case looked better than Zippy brand and was cheaper than Zippy. ( i know
transcend was available but i had an urgency to buy and had minimum
budget.) i went home, opened package, the power chord pin was crack
broken before even plugging it in the wall socket :S i then had a spare
power chord and used with it. This time i never expected the freezing
problem like i had in card reader problem. i cant believe that still i get
freezing problem for 5-6 times in beetween for 10-15 secs for transfering
files that too in this SATA case. that was weird :S. i took it to my friends
place, i experienced same problems. since the day i bought this case, i
thought that this must be the bug with this brand products and from that
day i decided not to buy this sucky brand TAG products anymore.
The very next day, power adapter busted :S i was like wat the
FCUK!! and i lost my control, called him and told him that im sending you
power adapter, please get it replaced and explained the whole story above.
My dealer contacted TAG dealer and he told my dealer that it is not
replacable since it doesnt carry warranty.. my dealer and me were like..
WTF!!! i said that im gonna meet the TAG dealer of your and i will talk to
him. I went at his small office cum small service centre yesterday and had
talk with his bihari bhaiya type service centre guy.. he is the only one
sitting outside his bosses cabin for service and other were testing some
faulty systems :rofl: I told him that pls replace this faulty stuff which have
been used only once and the pin of the power chord broke off easily before
use. He said, there is no warranty on this power adapter and he checked it
and it wasnt working. i told him, if you dont want to give support dont give
but your brand is sucky and i wont buy your products anymore and will
spread the word in market. he then told me that you talk with my boss. His
boss came out. a phat gujju guy told me that it doesnt carry warranty. i
told him, i havent used it for once and the pin got broken before using it.
he said, no! we cannot do anything.. i then snached the adapter from his
hand since it pissed me off
and told him that your brand is sucky and
INTEX is better than your brand and i use their sata cases and it fares well
in performance and quality than your TAG sucky brand. he then told me
back that "You are sucky". i screamed, "boss, you are the one showing
disrespect by not replacing the faulty product what kind of service you
provide and if this continues, your brand will suck more and you will come
and stay on road one fine day" he said, "take this to your dealer and he will
do something about it" in an angry tone. i said " i will spoil your brand
image and will let you down by spreading my experience everywhere" he got
little scared and i left his small office and he opened the door and told me in
a respectable tone "Do what you want"
Being the main distri for TAG brand, see his sucky style of talking
Ahh.. then i realised that i screwed him royally.. i wonder he didnt
change power adapter because he must be getting complains of that
frequently otherwise other companies do replace such faulty products.
i spoke to my dealer the above incedent which happened yesterday and he
told me that he will talk to TAG dealer and get back to me. If he doesnt
replace still, i will have to use Consumer Court and my Human Rights
powers
So guys, do not fall into trouble, if you have tight budget, buy other brands but not TAG
