Like I always said before, Taj area needs to get rid of the beggars at all costs, and then it will always be a worthy place to visit.

Ummm dude did you actually watch the broadcast here ?

cos i can't find any mention of it being #1, more like 'one' of the seven wonders.

Taj is probably the only monument to have such strong human feeling of undying love associated with it . and with such a beautiful monument , it does serve as a beacon in the time where war and crime is so rampant .

That is why it deserves to be #1 undoubtedly .

Of course i voted for it ...twice .

I just voted once, just because someone posted it on the forum, took 1 min to do whatever it was, and then never checked the thing, until this thread.

if anyone cares...there is no ranking mentioned.

the thread's topic is about as bogus as any i love india article in the press.

The 'other' wonder is the pyramids, whose caretakers did not care to be in the race.

So there are *actually* 8 so-called 'wonders'.

What is shocking is that the Egyptian Pyramids are not there.....

Ridiculous. Machu Picchu is amazing but not as much as the Pyramids.... those have survived through thousands of years and they deserve to be there more than any other "wonder"
