Car & Bike Taking Bike from Pune to Mumbai...have queries

I am taking my Honda Unicorn from Pune to Mumbai as i wont be staying in Pune for some time. It is a Pune registered (MH-12) bike. Do i have to pay anything to ride the bike in Mumbai ?? I mean any sort of tax etc or whatever is applicable ?? I have no clue about all this...can anyone please help

No. When you shift states you are supposed to get a new registration within some reasonable amount of time; here that is not an issue since Pune and Mumbai are both in the same state. No tax, no nothing.

You will probably have to pay the toll at the Mumbai-Pune border.

ride free......no tax , no toll , nothing....2 - wheelers have a free pass thru all the tolls....

just incase you are questioned abt the registration anywhere in mumbai by any official say ur here for a small official visit something and just came yesterday or something.....nothing else needed.
