Well, i was too lazy initially, then my friend called up and said, "Dude, lets go vote man.."

Hmm.. so i went and voted. My first time ever.
THe craziest part being that a few weeks ago, i had waited almost 4 hours just to get my Voter ID card.
And today, i was in and out of the area in like 2 minutes. no queue, no crap.

AND, my friend just rubbed off that ink line! it came off!
I let mine dry :D ..

So all you Tamilians out there... Go and VOTE!
 
I voted! First time i'm voting :D

Ditto about the queue - was in and out in a flash. Much faster compared to when I had to get my voter ID card , which needless to say after all those hours, they ended up losing my voter ID! However just had to show my passport, confirm my identity with the name in their list and I was good to go.

The lady streaked the ink line almost all across my finger! Looks odd, dunno why she dint just put a small line?! :huh: Should've rubbed it out when it was still wet I guess!

Lok paritran, i dont think they'll wil the Chepauk one, since Grampa has always won from there and he's got supporters.
Rest, no idea. Heard in Saidapet the slums have a major stake, and they're done little campaigning in the slums.

Raghu, Enigmatrix, you guys are in areas where they're contesting right? any news?

Vijaykanth won his seat and is a loner from his party. And lok paritran lost in all the places they contested - just as expected.

I didnt vote tho :( Was away in Bangalore

yeah he won in his area. he has a huge pile of fans. It may sound funny but in madurai when his films are released many ppl from villages come in lorry to watch the opening show :cool2:
 
i was away at bangalore for an entrance test.. :( wouldnt have mattered though. many ppl from my locality didnt have their names in the voters list for some reason.
 
i voted for the first time it was nice hardly any rush i stood for only 15 mins. Me in the thousand lights constituency, of course i voted for none other than lok paritran but they failed, i dont know the statistics as to by how much they lost.

and czar you have to stay in one place to get a voters id :p
