Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 VC Low light musings

Returned to India, on the way back brought a 450D and my Tammy 17-50 f/2.8 VC as well and have been trying a few experiments:

In the *budget* terminal of Singapore. It really shows the *budget* class. sigh



Airbus A320 that brought me to India. 0.6sec handheld shot.



Volvo Cockpit. 1 sec handheld.



Full Bus. 0.8sec handheld.



Cockpit zoomed in, took bus while it was moving. Focus on the steering wheel. 0.5sec handheld.

I dont think so considering the slow shutter speeds.

Thanks! But I was never able to take such good low light pics with the 7D. This was the first time I tried the Tammy on the 450 and it literally blew me away. Thinking if the 7D buying was a mistake hmm.

@sriharsha: No flash. I dont like using flash!

i read that 7D has a better keeper rate at ISO 3200 than any other cam!

maybe ur tamron and 7d dont go well togeather.
