Our great Indian ISPs cant even offer 256 kbps properly...and now they think about 100 mbps :mad:

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) today unveiled its new Power Launcher series of Ultra High Speed broadband products.

These data products, offered over Ethernet, leverage the Tata Indicom wireline network in Mumbai, and offer retail customers for the first time speeds of up to 100 Mbps.

The service has been priced at Rs.10,500 per month, while students can avail a discount of 10%.

This service will be rolled out in a phased manner across the city of Mumbai. It is being made available at Tata Indicom outlets in south Mumbai first and will cover the entire city within a month.

I pay 500rs and i get 10gb limit per month and i get a download speed of 35-40kbps in 256kbps connection.

lol 10% discount for students. :rofl: :rofl:

I wonder what kind of management guys are they hiring to come up with these plans??

Probably rescission time so they are just asking there chai wala's to come up with plans

This is all done to give out Sensational Headlines in newspapers showing their technological superiority to provide a 100Mbps connection in India but like every marketing gimmick caveats are not publicized... :p
 
Great when will they come up with 1Gbps connection which is already available in Japan, and i'm sure it will be here soon with but with a 1GB limit after which your speed will be capped to 10kbps :p
