and BTW is Airtel stopping their unlimited packages but the beginning of next year?
I dont think so.. however they are surely bringing the speed down to 64Kbps from 256Kbps for the same rate plan.... The unlimited clause will remain.

Thats what the sales rep told me.

As regards Airtel, they took out an ad in the Hindu a few days back, i think the limit is 4 or 5 gb per month from next year... someone please confirm this (i 've lost the clipping)

Thats the 500 bucks a month scheme with 1GB limit. They are allowing 5GB limit per month for that scheme till Feb 29th 2006. After that 1GB per month

nah that will be like hitting themselves on their head. why would one want to lose all satisfied customers. a false notice likely

Of course, has to be. In fact, looking forward to their new plans.

Hathway and Airtel should lead the way forward. By this time next year, we should be sitting on 2-5 MBps for 999-1500 p/m.

No need for any telephone connection. Just select the usb or router connection type and choose the plan and pay them accordingy :p

Good for you :hap2: . Just hope Tata keeps it up and gets better plans like Airtel and Hathway, then crap isp's like Sify can see that they're not the best.

Why send a fax? i think you can change your plans online itself at www.tataindicombroadband.com

I'll call up the call-centre peeps in a day or 2...
