I got one on my wrist... it's a tribal design, and it's got my name in cryptic manner. It was fun getting it done, it wasn't painful as such, it hurts a bit only on bone-y part, not much on flesh. It's more like mild stinging, tingling feeling. :)

Planning get both my shoulders tattoo-ed soon.

Cost of the machine is 8k+ miami brand ink is 1k~5k. Cost per sq inch ranges from 100~500Rs.

Ah........ U changed ur post. I am planning full arm next birthday, should be ok with a experienced artist.
Hmm? I never wrote import, nor changed my post.

I have an totoo, Its an Kanji Script, which says "Mother"..got it 2 years back..

Experience: Had put in a loads of thoughts before I got it..coz I had to live with it for my whole life...and I don't regret it at all.

will pain like hell the first time the needle starts pricking your skin...but you will get used to it...but its damm irritating...and the first 14 days when it heals are the toughest...you just feel like iching it...

attached is my tatoo just after the moment I got it

pain like hell ? hmm that did not happen , weird .... i was waiting for the pain and in the end there was an annoying noise ...its addictive , atleast for me

I got one on my leg. Its stretches from my knees to the ankle and is a five-part tattoo. Had the design with me for quite sometime and since it signified the meaning i wanted to express, i got it done the moment i got a chance.

and since it was on the leg (The side of the leg actually) it was quite painful. you could feel the needle hitting the bones !!!

rijil you shouldn't have felt any pain... with so much fat on your arms

That's actually true... the pain is felt on area where there is less flesh and vibrations from machine are felt easily on bone. On the flesh itself, it hardly any pain.. the stinging is so minuscule that more than hurting it's more repeating/irritating to addictive depending on your taste.

I did it on my wrist and the only part where I actually, actually felt pain was main moving joint on hand and forearms where it's more boney with thin layer of skin.

One can have a much better body than brad pitt if one works for it. Brad pitt was not born with a good body, he spent hours taking care of it to make it the way it is now.
