Finally after hectic overclocking qualifying round we are ready to brace the final showdown of the overclocking contest. Held together by Kingston and TechEnclave we are proud to present the final showdown of the scintillating

This is a no hold barred round. No cheating, no lollygaggin' and no back stabbing. Rules are clear - overclock you system as much as you can. Since this a memory based challenge priority will be given to Ram OC with better timing.

So without any further delays lets begin . Here are the few rules that you need to follow -

1. Validate and post your overclocking scores @ CPUID using CPUZ validation - download from here CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
2.. A clear picture of the screen with CPUZ (showing CPU and Mem Clocks screen) - no tampering with clocks should be done.
3. A notepad with your name and current date written on it.
4.. Make sure your do not change the hardware, we will only consider only the hardware that you used in the qualifying round (minus the ram). If you change the hardware in here we will disqualify your enrty.
5.. Post thumbnails here - host your image @ imgur.com or imageshack.us or any public host your like. Refrain hotlinking images directly - use only thumbnails !!
6. Qualifying members were provided with HyperX Blue kits KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX . Use of any other module other than the bundled module will result in disqualification

Preview -

1. A short preview of the HyperX Blue kits KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX should be posted by all the qualifying members.
2. The preview/review should contain your impression of the build quality, packaging , performance and oc headroom by the same kit.
3. You can post a video review if you want.
4. Post all the review/preview related stuff in a new post under this thread.

Winner -

1. After careful study by our algorithms we will conclude the winner at an appropriate date.
2. The winner will receive a brand new HyperX Predator kit from Kingston (2x4GB). Part number - KHX21C11T2K2/8X .

Submissions and Deadlines -

1. The overclocking contest will end at 23:39 November 23 2012. So hurry up and post your entry before that.
2. Members can post a maximum of 5 entry. Only the best entry will be considered for final scrutiny.

Best of the luck for the contest.

so what are you looking at?
highest mem clock validation?

Code:
This is a no hold barred round. No cheating, no lollygaggin' and no back stabbing. Rules are clear - overclock you system as much as you can. Since this a memory based challenge priority will be given to Ram OC with better timing

Its not like you can overclock the ram without overclocking the system :P But yes memory overclocking is over primary concern.

will you be taking timings/latency into consideration???
like moderates clocks with good latency???

A little clarity on the judgement would be nice. Is it just about the mem clock, or will other things also factor?

Its a overclocking challenge so primary focus is speed , other variables are just for secondary points.

If I were you I'd rather be posting entries and preview :P

Come on guys show some spirit with only 2 entries and lackluster participation.

Don't you want a predator kit ?

Nice kits and definitely great for overclocking. I think these would be Samsung IC's:

Come nicely packaged and well protected in a cardboard box. Once you open this you get a look at a sturdy plastic container:

Quick look at the specs:

And a glamour shot:

Moving on to the business end of the post. Lets start with stock. Seems to do quite well at 1.5V:

UY9ktl.jpg

Next up, I tried 1866, but it was only possible at 1.65V and CL 10

v7ksWl.jpg

Then moved on to 2000 Mhz CL 11 @ 1.65V again:

And finally the best I could get. I could run 2200 1.65V for Super Pi, but since I cant seem to find that screenshot, I am putting this up. 2400 CL 11 @ 1.70V

Great ram and I am sure with a bit of tweaking I can get them to stick at 2400. That would need a lot of time though and this is more of a quick and dirty. I hope you guys got an idea of what to aim for.

Thanks TE and Kingston.

^^ mav do post the validation link with the screen shot :) Very nice preview :))

Edit - @mav2000 your screenshots are way to small for us to see clearly. Please upload high res images (with thumbnails) also do update with link.

@others - Please do update the score with either screenshot or validation link.

Well I tried the thumbnail method but looks like it didn't work.

Tried again, but not happening. I have linked the album instead. I have also posted a validation link for the best score.

Sadly I'm still stuck in Mumbai. Missed my train on Friday and now I've barely been able to get tickets to return by day after. I haven't even had a chance to even look at the kits :(

Just a reminder - please post separate preview and benchmarks.

Also please do use AIDA for ref. benchmarking in the preview. For other pointers please refer to the TOC that I sent you .

Allright time for preview...and my apologies to everyone for being so late..
